Lynn G. Ford, CFE, FCLS
President

Lynn 's law enforcement career includes seven (7) years with the Iowa State Patrol, Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) and over nine (9) years as the Sheriff of Pottawattamie County. This career included uniform duty, plains clothes investigation duty, and law enforcement administration. Following his law enforcement career, Lynn entered the insurance industry working at both retail agency and national company levels. This career involved development and management of insurance Special Investigation Units (SIU) for two national insurance company organizations. During this twenty (20) year experience, Lynn investigated and supervised investigation of over 4000 cases of insurance fraud, internal employee fraud, and federal compliance investigations. Lynn holds the Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and Fraud Claims Law Specialist (FCLS) designations. He is a past training officer for the Heartland Chapter of the Certified Fraud Examiners.

Dennis Bardsley
Director of Operations

Dennis retired from the Iowa State Patrol after thirty three (33) years of service. His experience includes twelve years of uniform duty and twenty (20) years of investigative experience while assigned to the Vehicle Theft Unit. Dennis was involved in hundreds of investigations during this time. These investigations included individual and theft ring investigations. Dennis has been the Director of Operations for INET for the last eight (8) years. Dennis graduated from the Iowa State Patrol Academy and has attended numerous investigative related training courses during his career.

Bob Henderson
Investigator

Bob retired from the State of Iowa, Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI) as the Special Agent in Charge of the Council Bluffs office. His career included experience as a city police officer, deputy sheriff, railroad police, and twenty six (26) years of investigative experience with the DCI. His time with the DCI included both narcotics and general criminal investigations. He has completed or supervised literally hundreds of investigations. He obtained his B.A. from Graceland University and graduated from the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy, Department of Public Safety Academy, Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) officer’s state and local academy, and the US Army Military Police School. He attended and taught over 1000 training courses in investigation and related matters.

Dick Mescher
Investigator

Dick retired from the State of Iowa, Department of Transportation (DOT), Motor Vehicle Enforcement Division in Council Bluffs. His career with the DOT included twelve years of uniform duty and finishing his career with fifteen (15) years as a plain clothes investigator. Dick graduated from the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy and the Law Enforcement Intelligence Network training. He attended several hundred investigation training courses during his career. Dick was involved in numerous investigations involving motor vehicle issues and identity theft investigations, among others.

Jeff Carman
Investigator

Jeff retired as a twenty (20) years veteran of the Pottawattamie County Sheriff’s Department. His assignments included uniform duty, plain clothes investigations, court security, and civil process. These assignments included narcotic investigations, surveillance cases, and crime scene investigations among others. Jeff attended Wayne State University. He graduated form the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy and numerous other investigative training courses.
